Dry Rot Repair
Rotted wood cut out, the gap that let the water in fixed, and the framing rebuilt.

One crew takes a job from the pad to the paint, so the framing, the drywall and the finish never get handed to another trade.

Dry rot repair leads the list. The rest follows a building from the slab up to the finish.

Kitchen and bathroom remodels run by the same crew that handles the framing, drywall and finish.
On most jobs, the framing, the drywall and the finish belong to three different crews with three different phone numbers. Each one inherits whatever the last one left behind, and when something is off, the finger pointing starts.
At Start2Finish they are one crew. The same people pour the pad, frame the walls, hang and finish the drywall, and do the trim and the paint, so a problem in the framing gets fixed in the framing instead of getting covered by drywall. You explain the job once and hear back from the same person all the way to the last coat.

Coty has done a lot of work for our family over the last decade and a half or so. He has done things from installing appliances, installing new windows, converting the garage into a living space, painting, drywall…from basic handyman to remodeling the living room. He’s a hard-working man who is fair, honest and reasonable. Just ask his many friends who they’d call if they needed help. I know this is for his construction business, but he has also fixed cars and towed his friends if their cars broke down. He’s got ya!

He is fair, his prices are very very fair. What a perfect package of a small business. One cannot go wrong with having him work on your most important construction job.

Communicated well, worked hard and in a timely manner. Had a slight hiccup with my own scheduling and they accommodated very well. Plan on using them again in the future.

Coty was born in Albany and has lived in the Willamette Valley nearly all his life. Here is where he works.
He covers the Willamette Valley.
Straight answers on dry rot, pole barns and how a quote works.
Dry rot is wood that has stayed wet long enough for fungus to break it down, so it turns soft, crumbly and weak. In Albany it usually hides behind siding, around windows and under decks, where water gets in and cannot dry out. Coty finds it by opening up the soft area until he reaches solid wood, then explains what he sees and what let the water in.
Both. Start2Finish takes a job from the pad to the paint with one crew, so an Albany remodel does not get split between a framer, a drywall contractor and a finish carpenter. If you only need one piece, such as a slab, a drywall repair or new siding, that works too. Tell Coty what you need in the quote request.
A pole barn starts with the ground: the pad is prepared, posts are set, and trusses go on before any steel siding. Doors, a concrete floor and spray foam insulation can follow, depending on how you plan to use the building. Start2Finish builds pole barns and steel-sided shops around Albany, Salem and Lebanon with one crew handling each step.
Use the Request a Quote button and describe the job, the town and what you want finished. Coty reads the request and follows up about the work. There is no price list on this site, because the cost depends on the job itself, whether that is dry rot repair, a pole barn or a slab.
Albany, Salem, Lebanon, Keizer, Dallas, Hayesville and Four Corners, plus the rest of the Willamette Valley. Coty was born in Albany and works the mid valley from there. If your town is not listed but sits in the valley, send the quote request anyway and say where the job is.
Yes. One long-time customer describes Coty's work as running from basic handyman jobs to remodeling a living room, including installing appliances and new windows. A drywall patch, a window, a short run of framing or a rotted trim board in Albany or Salem is worth a quote request. Describe it and Coty will tell you whether it fits.
